Accessibility
Our aim is that everyone can use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control.
Last updated October 21, 2026.
Standard
The site is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. In practice that means semantic headings and landmarks, a skip link, visible keyboard focus on every control, text contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against its background, descriptive alternative text on every photograph, no content that relies on color alone, and layouts that reflow down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
Known limitations
- Forms linked from this site are hosted by a third-party form service whose accessibility we do not control.
- Some linked documents, such as the Know Your Rights toolkit, are PDFs produced by other organizations.
